Testimonials for La Manga Club Bootcamp

I attended La Manga Club Boot Camp in October 2008. I hit a big birthday earlier this year and had come to the realisation that I do everything in my comfort zone and was now sliding into middle age with lots of excuses why I could not do things anymore, and in the mirror I saw a fatter mumsy person who was not me!! So time for a wake up call.
The boot camp was a scary prospect. I was very nervous about the regime, whether I would cope, if the trainers from the Royal Marines would bully us and whether I would make a complete arse of myself.
The reality was amazing, yes it was the hardest thing I have done, but it was achievable even for an average middle aged woman. We worked hard every day, but it got better day by day and by the end of the week I was several inches smaller several pounds lighter and I had learned a lot about my self.
What I had not considered before the camp was the team spirit, the great friendships made and the fantastic support of the boot camp team, who were available whenever you needed them. The Marines were fantastic, they knew what you were capable of and worked with you to achieve it and they are great guys.
La Manga is fantastic as a venue, the villas are excellent, the food good and when the sun shines every day it is much easier to enjoy the experience
Three months on I have lost another half stone and after a period of struggling to get back into the gym routine I am finally there again knowing what I can achieve.
Would I do it again, yes definitely and would I recommend it, absolutely.
